Participants of this year’s HSI Virtual Career Expo include Autodesk, CSL Behring, PepsiCo, AbbVie, Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), H-E-B, John Deere, Protiviti and Spectrum. “We want to imbibe a culture within companies and employers to embrace diversity, equity and inclusion by establishing impactful recruiting strategies at HSIs.” “Our focus within the HSI Career Collaborative is on increasing employment opportunities for all our students and alumni with the best companies across the country,” said Mario Vela, UTSA assistant vice provost of career-engaged learning and co-founder of the HSI Career Collaborative. Now in its third year, the HSI Career Virtual Expo has connected over 2,600 students and alumni with organizations across the nation who are reaffirming and strengthening a shared vision for diverse talent in their professional spaces.
